Total Flake with an Update!!

Hey everyone that follows this blog (if there are any since it's been almost a year since my last post). I have been SUPER busy! So here is just a quick update of what we have been up to in the last year. Shane and I celebrated our 4th year of marriage this year, It has been an amazing. I only pictures myself where I am now, we I was in Elementary school, but when I was older I never thought I would be married with a kid and a house. Shane and I were busy preparing to go threw the Temple for the first time as a family. We were sealed in the Draper Temple on June 11Th, it was such an awesome experience. This Temple is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL, I was in awe of all the pretty chandeliers and sconces, wood work, furniture and art work! We also had ReLeigh sealed to us, words can't even describe how wonderful it was. There wasn't a dry eye in the room, and she was so good- and when I say good I mean like not her self good, I know that our prayers were answered that day for sure! She looked so cute in her white dress and she knew it. The Spirit that we felt that day was so strong! Everyone told us we would be tired when we were done, and I was thinking "yeah right it doesn't take that long how would I be tired after a couple hours?" Oh man, when we were done with our luncheon we all went home and crashed on the coach for a couple of hours. I can honestly say that this was the best decision we have made. I can't even tell you how many time Shane and I have tried going through the process to be sealed, it has been a very long hard road and I am glad that we made it, I know that the only reason we did is because we were the one's making this decision, not anyone else. I am so glad that I can now say we are a FOREVER FAMILY! I love my husband and I am so ready to spend eternity with him, I also love my sweet little Rey bug, she is perfect in every single way and I am so Thankful for her! I also wanted to Thank everyone that participated in getting us to the Temple and Thanks for not giving up on us and for never judging us or pushing us! You guys hold a special place in my heart and I want you to know how much I love and care about you!

Shane was pretty much MIA this Summer, he was working out of town in St. George up until a couple of weeks ago! Let me tell you it freaking SUCKED! I hate being alone, and it's hard raising your kid by your self, working, and never having a minute to yourself. I am SO THANKFUL for Shane, he helps me out so much! He is always willing to change Rey's diaper, play with her, put her down for naps, make dinner for us, clean, and the list goes on. He does so much for us and he works hard every single day to make sure that there is dinner on the table and a roof over our heads. Not many people understand how hard he works! Shane leaves our house between 4:30am and 6:00am depending on where he is working, some times it's early like when he was going to work in St. George on Monday he would leave our house at 3AM. Then he works outside in the HOT sun, rain, hail, snow, and freezing temperatures for 10-12 hours a day 5 sometimes 6 days a week, not like most people who work in an office cubical with air conditioning and a heater for 8-10 hours, 4-5 days a week. I have no idea when my husband will come home at night, sometimes he gets off at 5:00 and other times he's not home till 8:00. He never knows when he will get a call saying that he will be going out of town and that they need him to come to work ASAP because somethings happened. It's really hard! Sorry that I'm going off on how my husband works hard, but I am sick and tired of people writing on Facebook or talking at church saying that they are so upset because there husband is an hour late from getting home or that they have to work a Saturday shift and they are going to miss out on something! Hello people my husband has to work on our Anniversary, Birthday's, and pretty much all the Holiday's, So shut your mouth about how hard it is. OK I think I'm done with my rant! This will probably piss off some people, but I really don't care! :D I am really happy though that he is working on the Murdock Canal, this is a great opportunity for him, they have promoted him to Foreman!!!!!!! I'm so proud of him, he completely deserves it! He will also be finishing his Journeyman's Operator schooling in March. I LOVE YOU BABY THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!!!

As for me I am still working at the Legacy Center. I have Friday's off, so that is my time to catch up on cleaning my house, and playing with Rey! I started Weight Watchers at the beginning of this year and had a goal to lose 30 pounds by the beginning of July, and I met my goal! YAHOO!!! I was able to meet my goal by the 2nd weekend in June! I was so proud of myself... believe me it wasn't easy there were lots of weeks that I would gain or wouldn't loose, but I had a goal and I was determined to meet it. I know that a lot of the reason that I met my goal was because of my family and the support of those at WW meetings. It's really nice to know that you aren't the only one in the world that is over weight and needs/wants to loose weight. I also want to Thank my Grandma Calton for helping me out, she is a lifetime member to Weight Watchers and she has worked very hard, I hope one day to meet my life time goal! Something else that is cool that I did this year so far was complete 4 out of 5 of my New Years Resolutions! I have never stuck to finishing my Resolution list, I always give up by March or April. For you who haven't seen my Facebook page or seen my list here it is:
1- Join Weight Watchers- DONE

2- Lose 30 Pounds by July-DONE

3- Do a 5K-DONE

4- Get Sealed in the Temple-DONE

5- Get Pregnant-We're working on it ;D

Now for the update on ReLeigh! She is now about 2 1/2 and totally in her terrible two's, some days are better then ever. She has went threw hitting, biting, screaming, major temper tantrums, and everything in-between. She is still the cutest curly-blonde haired, blue eyed girl ever. We get stopped every where we go so someone can tell us how cute she is, and how they love her curly hair! She loves going to church, she even asks to go in the middle of the week! She loves to go to the park and school by our house so that she can go down the slides and swings, she always freaks out when we drive by a park or school and we don't stop. When we go to the Bank she knows that they give out suckers so she always reminds me to get her one. ReLeigh is so smart! She knows all of her colors, she can count to ten (she says 7 as "fiven" it's adorable), she speaks in sentences, can put her shoes on the right feet, and she picks up EVERYTHING that anyone says. My dad loves to teach her to say funny things, the most recent is instead of "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes" she says "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Bum" luckily she hasn't sang that version nursery. Her favorite movies are Toy Story 1-3, Princess and the Frog, and the Leap Frog DVDs (letter factory, numbers ahoy, alphabet amusement park, and math to the moon).

So that's my quick update! I'll post some updated pictures, next time. Maybe one of my New Year Resolution's for next year should be to update my blog at least monthly!

Happy Birthday Mommy!!!!

I wanna wish the BEST mom in the WORLD a Happy Birthday today! She is the best women on the planet. She is always willing to help anyone at any hour of the day for any reason! I Couldn't ask for a better Mom! I love her unconditionally! Thank you for always giving me good advise, hugs and kisses, and I love you's when I didn't deserve it. Thank you for watching ReLeigh for us when we are at work. Thank you for being my Best Friend! You have been through a lot with you Crohn's Disease and you have fought many battles through out your life time and I hope one day I can be just as strong, brave, loving, and good mom like you are!

Bad Blogger... Sorry it took so Long!

Hello all that usually follow my blog, I have been super busy with working and being a mommy that I haven't posted anything in like a YEAR!!! ReLeigh is now 19 months (I know it's really hard to believe!!) and she is so much fun and very energetic, she keeps me on a consistant go all day! She has been talking and learning new things every day, she is a really big copy cat, so we are always having to be carefull what we do or say around her!! She is such a petite little thing she wears 12 month pants and 18 month shirts (only for the length she's got a long torso). But I still don't regret any minute of it not even the extra weight and stretch marks!! LOL! Shane is still working for Gerber Construction and is also going to school to get his Journeymen's Operator!! I'm so proud of him he works so hard every single day. Lately he has had to work weird hours and has been out of town, but he does it with out complaint because he knows it's all for his family and I love his so much for all that he does for us! I couldn't ask for a better husband or father for my kids! As for me I am working at Lehi Legacy Center in the Registration Office. So you probably won't see me unless you need to register you or your kids for a program/ Sport, but I love it!!! I don't have to work Friday's or Saturday's and it's only 15 hours a week so i'm not away to much and it's just enough time for me to have for some adult interaction.

This year has gone by so fast!! Our year didn't start off so well, My Amazing cousin Tyrel passed away at the young age of 26 from complications of a seizure unexpectedly. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. We were the closest in age in our family and I always looked up to him and his brothers. There are SO many things that just won't be the same with out him. He worked hard to Play hard, that was his moto. He always lived his life to the fullest and never looked back! We will all miss him dearly and I only wish that ReLeigh could've got to know him better. We can't wait to see you agian someday!!

Tyrel Calton- We miss you and Love you!!

Things turned around in February, ReLeigh had her First Birthday!!! We went all out (well at least I did) but hey you only turn 1 once!!! I got her, her own cake from Dippidee, it was so cute!!! He theme was Cupcakes so I made tons of cupcakes, and I made everything Bright and fun! She got completely spoiled by everyone!!! We Love you ReLeigh McKell! Here are some pics from her B-Day!

Shane and I also celebrated our birthday's I turned 22 and Shane turned 23. We have been loving every minute of being married and being parents we woudn't trade any of it for anything! Oh and I almost forgot that my brother got married and they had the first baby in April, His name is Ziggy Tyrel and he is such a freaking chunck!! he is 5 months now and last he weighed in he was 17 ibs 26 inches long! He is such a good baby and he is very happy! We love hims so much!!

We are also currently trying to work on being sealed in the temple. We know we have a long hard journey in front of us but we know that it will all be worth it in the end. We are also hoping to start trying to have another baby this next coming year. Well that's all I can do for now.... I hope you enjoyed my post! Quick Update

Hey sorry I have been such a bad blogger but with the holiday's it's been hard to just find time to sit down and upload pics!! Since I last updated ReLeigh has started crawling and pulling her self up and cruising around the house!! She has 4 1/2 teeth (the one top one just won't poke through!!) and she loves to try and climb the stairs she had No FEAR!! We are all set for the Holidays and we can't wait it's going to be so much fun!!! We have got lots of presents under the tree. Work for Shane and I has been good we have been very fortunate through these tough times to keep our jobs and we are so very thankful!! We got our family pictures done by Kelsie she did such a good job... you can check out her stuff on her blog!! I LOVE THEM... THANKS SO MUCH KELSIE!!! I hope everyone is well and I will try to stay on top of things!!

HaLlOwEeN with ReLeigh!

This year was ReLeigh's First Halloween!! It was so much fun to dress her up!! I had such a hard time finding her a cute costume that was her size at under $20. But then when I was a a boutique there was a lady there that was making costumes out of tutu's and I remembered that my best friend had bought Rey a M&M shirt that was red and I had made her a red tutu for the fourth of July so I thought I would dress her up as a Fancy M&M and I think it turned out TEN times Cuter than those costumes in the store!! And it only cost me $16.00(only because her bow came in a two pack). ReLeigh had tons of fun. We went to my moms best friends house first because she never gets Trick-or-Treaters so we thought we would drop by. When we got there she got to hang out with a couple of new friends and she really enjoyed it! Then we went to all the Grandma's houses that were on my side of the family. Everyone LOVED her costume and thought she was just so cute!!! She also enjoyed sucking on the candy bar with the wrapper on. She is getting so big and I just can't believe it! She already has 2 teeth with the top 2 on there way they are going to pop out any minute!! We hope everyone had a Happy Halloween!!

LaBoR DaY: Wedding, Blessing, ZOO, and Luau!

We had a BUSY Labor Day. My Best Friend since 2 Amber got married on Saturday September 5th to Tyler Jacobson! They make such a great couple, they also have a cute baby girl named Haylee Marie. She is 3 1/2 months old. Her Wedding was beautiful, It was simple and fun! Amber looked amazing, and Hidden Meadows did a great job at making everything run smoothly! CONGRATULATIONS MR. and MRS. Jacobson! On Sunday we BLESSED our beautiful baby girl ReLeigh McKell. She looked so cute!! When Shane presented her she had this look on her face like Yep this is my day, all about me no one else! It was so funny!! We had everyone over after Sacrament for a light lunch, our house was packed! It was great to see everyone, Thanks to those who came and for those who couldn't make it! On Sunday Rey chomped on some celery (she loved it!) and she also drank from her sippy cup!! She is getting so big!! Then on Monday we took Rey to the HOGLE ZOO!!! It was a lot of fun! Her uncle Colton came with us. (ReLeigh LOVES Colton) We thought that because she loves animals so much she would like the Zoo but oh man it was BUSY!! Every time there would be an animal that was out and about everyone would push and get in the way so that they could see the animal so it sucked on that end but she liked the monkey's they made her laugh! She loves hippos, birds, bears and Tigger. She was completely OUT when we were done at the Zoo there was no waking her up! Later that day we went to this Luau at Thanksgiving Point with Shane's Family. It was ok... the food was really good but we didn't really like the entertainment, it was nothing like the Luau's we went to in Hawaii. The music they set the dances too was like techno, club music which has nothing to do with the traditional dances! Also some of the dancers looked like they had no idea what they were doing like they had just learned them 30 minutes earlier. So we left early, but we were ok with it because we were tired from walking around the Zoo all morning. We had such a good weekend and wish we could have more like that more often!
