.:.2 MONTHS OLD.:.

ReLeigh is now 2 Months Old and we can't believe it... it has gone by so fast!!!! She has gotten so big. She now weighs 10ibs 4 oz and is 22 inches long! She LOVES to kick her legs and talk in the morning, I always turn on her mobile in the morning after I feed her while I get ready for the day and she just talks and talks at her mobile when it stops she yells at it... it's the cutest thing ever! She is also a very happy baby... she loves to smile and talk to you when your are playing with her, she loves to be on her back so she can kick and see everything around her. She knows mommy and daddy's voices, whenever some else is holding her she looks in our direction if we are talking. She loves to be in her swing it always puts her to sleep but she never has a problem with us putting her in it or being in it. She loves to swing her arms around and it's sad because she will always hit herself in the head! She also got to have her 1st bath in her tubby!! She had so much fun... she just kicked and splashed while I washed her. It's so adorable... we got it on film! We had to get her Shots the other day and that was the worst... you have to hold them there while they stick needles into there legs and then they are bawling. She never cries unless she is hungry or tired, I have never heard her cry like that before and she just couldn't stop because every time she would kick her legs it would hurt. I gave her some tylenol which helped but it was best when she was asleep!! but she is better now that we have rubbed the knots out of her leg! I will post some more pictures later.

On Saturday we went to my Grandparents house (the Calton side) for an Easter lunch party. It was rainy outside but we were able to do it out in the sunroom which was really nice!! We always bbq hamburgers and hot dogs and have all kinds of sides... like potatoe salad, homemade baked beans, chips, relish tray, and yummy desserts!! We also have an Easter Egg Hunt for all of the kids that are 18 and under... it's cool because they don't have candy in them they have $1.00. Each Grandkid is assigned 3 eggs and a color. I didn't think they would have some for ReLeigh because she is so young but they did they are the best!! They were very easy to find and they weren't out in the rain. We had tons of fun!!! and ReLeigh looked adorable. On Easter Sunday we went to Shane's mom and Dad's house for a BIG dinner. It was so good!!! ReLeigh was really tired though so she didn't want to be sat down or put in her swing that Grandma had. She just wanted to be held... which Grandpa Miner had no problem with that... he loves to hold her! It was a really good Easter and it was tons of fun to have ReLeigh with us!! I just can't wait for Halloween and Christmas... it'll be so much more fun now!!!!!

Yes and No. We had been trying to get pregnant around the beginning of the year and when it didn't happen we decided to just let nature take it's course and let it happen when it was supposed to happen.

Igot a huge smile on my face and hugged Shane really hard and long, I think I cried a little bit but I was so happy and excited!

Just turn 21 the Saturday before!

Well I would get really nauseas with smells and when I would go on car rides. Then I realized I missed my period. Plus I just felt really different.

Shane was there with me so my Parents and then his.

Of course I did. The only time I won't is when I have one of each!

9. DUE DATE?
February 16th. my ultra sound tech said the 13th.

Nope I was never sick once.

Hot dogs or Corn dogs, big macs, bologna and ice! 

12. WHAT IRRITATED YOU?
The lack of sleep that I got. I was so mean towards the end... even people at work were telling me I was! 

13. WHAT WAS THE SEX?
Female!

14. DID YOU WISH IT WERE THE OPPOSITE?
At first I wanted a boy but I honestly didn't care. I'm actually way happy that we had a girl because she is so amazing!! I LOVE HER!

 28 or 29 pounds.

Yeah 3!!

No it was good. It was the night before we were going to go home that we ran into a road block and had to end up staying in the hospital and extra 2 1/2 days!

American Fork Hospital

19. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR?
6 hours and 3 minutes. They started me at 7:55am and Dr. Willis broke my water at 8:00 am and I had Her at 1:58 pm.

Shane 

21. WHO WAS IN THE ROOM WHEN YOU GAVE BIRTH?
Shane, my mom, Dr. Willis, Nurse Brittney, and Nurse Keisha

Natural with an Epidural!!

23. DID YOU TAKE MEDICATION TO EASE THE PAIN?
Yes I had an epidural. It was the best!! NO PAIN AT ALL!!

MY BABY GIRL HAS ARRIVED!!!

Hey everyone, I'm just letting you know that our BEAUTIFUL BABY GIRL has finally ARRIVED!!!!

Her name is ReLeigh McKell Miner, born Feb 13 at 1:58 pm. She was 8 lbs. 1 oz. 19 in. long. She has beautiful brown hair, and we believe her eyes are blue, as far as we can tell, just like mommy and daddy. I'm so excited she has finally joined our family, I can't even begin to describe my feelings when she arrived! McKell did wonderful, she made having babies look like a piece of cake, even though I know I would never make it past early labor! McKell was in labor for about five hours and ReLeigh came before the sixth! It all happened so quick and problem free I had no time to catch my breath. We can't wait to take her home tomorrow morning, and trust me, there will be plenty more pictures when we do!!!!

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!

Last Saturday was my 21st Birthday!! It was so awesome, Shane made me his amazing devils food cake with his chocolate whipped cream frosting (which is to die for!!). When I woke up and got ready Shane came in the bedroom and gave me a card was really cute and it had money in it for clothes after I have the baby, Then when I looked at the night stand there was a six pack of ibc rootbeer and a giant symphony bar! I thought it was so cute because i'm pregnant so I can't drink of course and he got me my favorite candy bar! We spent the day shopping for the rest of our baby stuff and we got the CUTEST DRESS EVER for our baby girl I can't wait for her to wear it. Then Shane took me to lunch at Texas Roadhouse... it was so so good! I ate this thing called a rattlesnack bite and it was so spicy that it made my eyes and nose water and my face turn red, Shane was laughing at me because he ate 3 of them and he didn't even think they were Spicy! HAHAHA I wouldn't let him tell them that it was my Birthday because I wasn't feeling to good I was having some contractions and really sharp pelvic pain mixed with a ton of pressure. Later that night my whole family except my brother came over for to watch me open presents and eat cake and ice cream. It was awesome my mom got me Scrapbook paper and stickers for the babies album and money, Shanes parents and brother gave me money, and my brother gave me money as well! Then my cute neice Kiaya gave me the CUTEST card ever, she drew Me, Shane, our cat Daisy, our house and the tree out front (she felt bad that she didn't draw our dog Meg but she didn't know that we even had one) and she taped a couple of pennies and dimes on the inside and said that she would give me 8 kittens and more money if she could but she couldn't and she told me she loved me! It was so cute, I just love her. This was the best Birthday. I always pictured my self having a Vegas Birthday with all my girlfriends for my 21st. I never in a million years thought I would be married or pregnant but I wouldn't trade it for the world because for a late birthday present I will be having my First Baby!

4 Days Left!!!

I went to the Doctor today and everything is progressing perfectly! I am now dilated to 3 cm and over 80% effaced with the babies head down and in the pelvis. I went in with the intention of asking about what I could do to get this baby out, like striping my membranes, creams, or induction. But I didn't even have to ask! I was suprised right when he was done checking me and the babies heart beat he asked me if I had thought about being induced? Of course I told him Yes. He was like well we can try to do it as soon as possible or we can wait to do it after your due date it's just up to you. So Shane and I asked if we could do it ASAP and he got on the phone with American Fork Hospitals Labor and Delivery and checked to see when they could get me in and they said Friday the 13th at 7 in the morning! I'm so excited because either she will come on her own between now and Friday morning or she will be here some time on Friday or Saturday morning! We just can't wait, we pretty much have everything we need! We are just waiting for the crib to come in. We will keep you updated... we are taking the computer, camera, and video camera to the hospital with us and we will be updating our blog!

2- How long did you date before you got married? We started dating my Jr. of High School so a little over 3 1/2 years.
3- Where did he propose? At Meadow Elementary. It's kind of a long story... but it was very cute!

11- When and where did you have your first kiss? It was our 3rd date and it was in his parents drive way and i was in big trouble with my dad because I was 2 or 3 hours passed my curfew.

13- What do you like to do together? Watch movies, snowboard, play games, golf, bowl, cuddle, we love doing anything and everything together, We are each others best friend.
14- Do you have any kids? Yep one on the way, due the 13th of February!
15-What is his favorite music to listen to? Alternative rock, country, and old rock... I think he listens to just about anything really.
16- What do you admire most about him? I love that he is hard working at work and at home... he doesn't just come home and sit on his butt he gets things done... he is also a really good husband I wouldn't trade him for anything!!
